Wearing shoes - random action ?
When you wear shoes, do you wear both shoes first or wear one shoe, tie the laces and then do the same for the second shoe ? Does it matter ? I mean, does this behavior say anything about you ? I might wear both shoes together at one time & some other time, I might wear one, tie laces and then wear the second one ... Going further, do you wear left shoe first or the right one ? what about socks ? Is it just random ?
How does our brain process this information ? Its definitely not a set of instructions thats given to our brain even in such a small thing as wearing shoes ... there is this randomness factor in there which makes it totally unpredictable ! Its amazing .. in fact, that leads to the next logical question, why is this randomness factor in there ? Why couldn't it be a simple wear btoh shoes(in a predefined order) & then tie laces for each (again in the same order)...
Dont you find this very interesting ? How do we define our actions ? just random ? Is it a satisfying answer ? I am no expert on human psychology/ neural networks ... please feel free to comment if you think you can put more focus on this ...
Just a random thought ... :)

I distinctly remember that most of the times, I wear my left shoe first and then right. Same with my socks. Sometimes however, I wear both shoes and then start tying laces. I think this does denote something. It probably means whether the person is finish-tasks-one-after-another or work-in-parallel respectively. Also, maybe its because I am right-handed so you know the right-hemisphere of brain controls left portion of my body and stuff might be responsible for this behaviour.
But then if you wear both shoes together sometimes, then it means that there is more to it that just which hemisphere cotrols brain or right(or left)-handedness. right ? Same thing applies to work-in-parallel theory.
I have noticed that the times when I am wearing both shoes first and then tying laces are those times when I am in rush to go somewhere or I am talking quickly, making decisions all at same time - you know, the kind where you do things differently when many things are happening around you. Which tells me that when sequence of events is *uneventful* as is most of the times, my brain follows a particular pattern and there is no randomness. But when there is deviation from the normal due to perturbances in the mental state or physical world, there is some unknown (to me) factor that comes into play.
